Best and Worst Sites on Sikhism?

This site is getting to be one of my favorites. It has a gold mine of information on historical subjects that are hard to find. For example, it has articles on the rehats that circulated after the death of Guru Gobind Singh, along with some interesting commentary to explain the information. Numerous articles, some by very established scholars in Sikhism.

If this one has been mentioned already I apologize. But this is another vein of scholarship. There are links to entire books on Sikhism that are substantial in their depth and breadth of writing.

The site you identified is a important web site for the Sikh sect, Nanaskar Sikhism. I have myself found many things of value there. At the same time I keep the distinctions clear between Nanaskar, which is a form of sanatan Sikhism, and Tat Khalsa Sikhi which draws spiritual leadership only from Sri Guru Granth Sahib. It would be interesting if we could have a balanced discussion of the Nanaskar experience. So far we have not been able to manage that. But there is much to be learned from all the creator has created. So I would enjoy this site without losing my spiritual autonomy in it.

I once had a brief correspondence with the webmaster there.

He is quite and interesting person; he was in Delhi at the time of the pogrom. He was able to hide and not be injured, however, the experience left an indelible impression on him, as it did on all of us.

He is most interested in doing an excellent job with the site. I have very high respect for him.

I stumbled upon the site mentioned in my first post while looking for something else and enjoyed part of what I was reading but confused by some of it too and now I know why. It is a beautiful site to look at though.

If you can read Punjabi in Gurmukhi and Hindi script,one of the very best sites on the net is:sikhmarg.com.
It has a vast number of articles on a variety of Gurmat topics by some very seriouly committed Gursikhs.There are some articles in English.

Sonapreet.net is virtually a tresurehouse of information on Sikhism and includes a great number of keertan sites.
calgarykeertan.com and proudtobesikh.com are other beautiful keertan sites.
