    KESH ( HAIR)

    1) If Kesh was so important then why did the first nine Gurus not mention this? 2) Why does the Sri Guru Granth Sahib, not mention anywhere not to cut a persons hair? 3) Cutting ones hair is not a paap/sin in Sikhi, as explained below: The final tenth Guru, in order of identity and...

Anyone Have Any Unanswered Questions On Sikhi Or God?

Nope, if I could even get to 5% of knowing, I would consider it a success. Otherwise if I did know nearly all, then in essence I would be saying I know nearly all as God, claiming to be near the knowledge of God. Only God knows all. But going to original point, It would be impossible to have a...

Anyone Have Any Unanswered Questions On Sikhi Or God?

So do you hold the believe God is a creation? If I went by teachings that God is not limited to no form, and is always around us. That Guru Nanak spoke to a being, called 'God'. Saw a being that he described as 'God'. Even to the point of his hair, arms and legs. Then 10/15 years later...

    Aurangzeb

Interesting, even if past Sikh stories were somehow in error; from the smallest to the largest. It does not dismiss the big events like that of the battles and the betrayal, and the killings of big Sikh figures. The whole article is written in a way that portrays the 'good' and promotes him...

Anyone Have Any Unanswered Questions On Sikhi Or God?

If God was the result of being created, then he would be a creation.

I Feel That A Lot Of Sikh's Are Spiritually Dead

No a Muslim does not just have to do that, but just as a small example. Our actions and obeying Gods commands as best as possible reflects how much effort we put in and hence how much love we have for God. I agree that someone's love for God is the root for all these other things to fall in place.

I Feel That A Lot Of Sikh's Are Spiritually Dead

At the bare minimum I would expect a dedicated Sikh, who lives by the text, as a 'rough' answer; to treat everyone equally rather than when meeting someone for the first time, to ask their caste or refer to another by saying 'That Thurkan went to...'; and also not to focus on outwardly...

    Reincarnation / Transmigration: Revisited & Re-explored

I am not going on guess work, I have studied deeply the major religions and looked at the creation of this Earth, as the fingerprints of God is all over this Earth. Do you know what the chances are for this Earth being made the way it is? Read below... For every reincarnation memory recalled...

    Reincarnation / Transmigration: Revisited & Re-explored

I am reiterating what the Sikhism, Christianity, Judaism, Islam religions agree upon. As including the other religions adds more credit to the Sikhi side of Heaven/Hell mentioned by the founder Guru Nanak, who was the only one summoned to God while he was living on Earth. Guru Gobind Singh Ji...

    Reincarnation / Transmigration: Revisited & Re-explored

Wow I am impressed by your maturity and wisdom. Usually most people who come across another that does not hold a similar view can not peacefully conclude it. When most people have their views asserted and strengthened over time, it is hard for it to be changed unless big enough, convincible ways...
