In his current position as President, Pharmaceuticals and Executive Director at Ranbaxy, Mr. Malvinder Mohan Singh is responsible for the entire global operations of the company spanning 44 countries. These cover Pharmaceuticals, APIs and manufacturing locations in 7 countries. Prior to being elevated to the position of President, Mr. Singh successfully led the company’s India operations as Regional Director and also played a pivotal role in establishing the Company’s presence overseas, as Director, Global Licensing and Business Development.

Mr. Singh has a comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical business and has worked in intensely competitive markets in roles as diverse as General Management, Sales & Marketing, Finance and Business Development.

He graduated in Economics from the prestigious St. Stephen’s college, New Delhi, India and holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University, USA.

Mr. Malvinder Mohan Singh is a member of the National Council for the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII). He is also the Co- Chairman of the National committee on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), CII. Recently, he was nominated to the prestigious forum of insightful, innovative and energetic ‘Young Global Leaders’, World Economic Forum, whose vision and dynamism could help to usher a future of hope, progress and positive change in the world.
