| | | | | Understanding JapJi Sahib Pauri 12, 13 & 14 In Pauries 8-11 Guru Ji describes the rewards of Listening God’s Name. Now Guru Ji is telling us about the person who obeys the Lord. In Pauri 12 Dhan Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji Sache Patshah is describing how indescribable is the condition of such a person. In later three pauries, Guru Ji describes the rewards such a person is capable of having. Pauri 12 mMny kI giq khI n jwie ] The state of a person who truly believes in the Lord’s Name (Naam) /the faithful/the obedient cannot be described. jy ko khY ipCY pCuqwie ] if someone tries to describe the state of such a person has to regret/repent afterwards. kwgid klm n ilKxhwru ] There is no paper, pen, and scribe are made mMny kw bih krin vIcwru ] that can be used to record the state of the obedient of the Lord. Such a person lovingly centers his/her thoughts on Waheguru all the time.
