hiradhai har har chithavai dhoojaa nehee koee ||
rom rom har oucharai khin khin har soee ||
guramukh janam sakaarathhaa niramal mal khoee ||
naanak jeevadhaa purakh dhhiaaeiaa amaraa padh hoee ||25||


Pauree:
Those who praise the Naam, and believe in the Naam, are eternally stable in this world.
Within their hearts, they dwell on the Lord, and nothing else at all.
With each and every hair, they chant the Lord's Name, each and every instant, the Lord.
The birth of the Gurmukh is fruitful and certified; pure and unstained, his filth is washed away.
O Nanak, meditating on the Lord of eternal life, the status of immortality is obtained. ||25||

The title has been duly amended !

Immortality is also achieved by our gurus teaching of rearing up a family and living in it.

Sikhs are a shining example of this singularly great thought.

we are just the trasmitter of life which flows from us to next generation. we are immortal because of our children.

Any action that is contrary to this can lead to lifes dissemination.

I do not know the meaning of evolution in sikhism.

Are we sikhs a step in this direction (or opposite of it )( not to be misunderstood as racial as any one can board this Arc of Noah???
