I came across an interesting story...A young woman was complaiing to her mum about how life was so hard... she was tired of fighting and struggling...she wanted to give up..whenever one problem was solved another two seemd to crop usp and take its place...
The mother took her daughter into the kitchen and put three pots of water to boil. She brought out a carrot and asked her daughter to feel it...its HARD she replied. The mother put the hard carrot into the boiling water.
Next she took an egg....she put the egg into the boiling water as well. Then she brought some coffee beans and put them into another pot of boiling water.
After a while the woman took out the carrots and asked her daughter to feel them....they have become so SOFT she replied.
Next she took out the egg....and peeled it....it was also hard..
But when they looked at the Coffee beans.... they both saw that the plain water had turned into aromatic coffee...
Now for the Lesson...said the mum. You see thse things all faced the same adversary...boiling water..but each reacted differently. The carrot went in STRONG HARD and UNRELENTING...but came out SOFTand WEAK.

The egg went in protected by its hard shell....ITS SOFT interior had been protected by the Hard shell..BUT the Boiling water HARDENED the SOFT INTERIOR...
BUT the Coffee bean was the ONLY ONE that changed the WATER...they were UNIQUE.
What are you ? asked the mum. Are you the carrot ? when adversity knocks at your door, do you go charging forward all hard..but soon lose all your strength and become weak ??
Or are you the Egg ? Which has a malleable inside which changes with the circimstances...becoming bitter and hardened with heat of hardship ??
OR are you like the Coffee Beans..which actuallty Changes the HOT WATER that caused it PAIN ?? The more the water BOILED, the more fragrance the bean released...making the whole room full of aroma and sweetness...elevating itself higher ...can we in our times of trials and tribulations CHANGE the Environment, elevate ourselves HIGHER...rather than SINK into DESPAIR ??
