Entering Dates more than once in a parameter

I have the following parameter set in a query & report:

Between [Start Date] And [End Date]

When I try to view the Datasheet or Report, it prompts me to enter these

dates. However, it asks me to enter these dates more than once (sometimes up
to 3 times).

Why does it do this and how can i fix it that I only have to enter these
dates once?

I am not sure why it does this but mine was doing the same thing. If
Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=9743
you go into the query design screen and change the criteria to Between
{Start Date:] And [End Date:]. It will fix the problem.
