... format a cell to percent ...

I want to type 50 into a table and want it to register 50%.

When I format the entry as percent. I don't get the desired result.

Do I have to do something other that just format as percent?

You can type:
50%
or
.5
and Access will interpret it as 50%.

50 / 100 (format as a percentage) = 50%

So

FieldName: ([PercentField]/50)
