Opening Subforms in Design View

Sometimes (often on a given form), when I open the form in design view, the
subform is not visable in design view. I can go to form view and then back to

design view and somestimes/sometime not it will be visible.

I know I can open the subform in a separate window, but I would rather not.

Any suggestions?

It may be that the invisible subform has no data in it.

Thanks Larry - but I created the subform and it has data. I discovered that

rather than opening it from the form view, if I go to the forms list, I can
open the main form and the subforms will open as well. Takes a couple extra
steps, b ut it gets me there for now.
