It may be that the invisible subform has no data in it.

Thanks Larry - but I created the subform and it has data. I discovered that Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=7732
rather than opening it from the form view, if I go to the forms list, I can
open the main form and the subforms will open as well. Takes a couple extra
steps, b ut it gets me there for now.
