I have a client that uses this old database. I believe that the company no

longer supports the database and I want to move the information to Access.

Can anyone advise me on this?

Is it possible?

Re: contact partner fdp corp - old database

I fear most of us are not familiar with a database named "This Old
Database". Perhaps it has a more specific name that someone here might
recognize, and then actually might be able to offer a suggestion.

Access has the best connectivity features I have found in any database, so
there's a good chance you might be able to Link or Import. If not, many
databases can export to other database format files (dBase's .DBF is a
common one) which Access may be able to import.

Re: contact partner fdp corp - old database

Hi Larry, apologies. I thought I was being clever by mentioning the name if
the database in the subject line. I thought it would attract the people who
might be familiar with the name.

It's called "contact partner" and it was produced by FDP Corp. The
extension I see is mdb.

thanks for the reply!

A search at Google using the keywords 'contact partner fdb corp' turned up
the following ...

It would appear that FDP Corp are now SunGard Insurance Systems, and,
according to their web site, 'Contact Partner' is still supported.
