I have a database with several hundred companies that I have been using for

quite a while with no problems.
I recently put it on the shared network so my entire department can use it.
So far so good. All the features on the application work.
However I built a custom help menu for the new users with numerous help

files. This all works great when I log on however when other users log on
they do not see the custom help menu just the standard Microsoft one.
What did I miss here?

Thank you for your help RVF

Did you create a totally new menu or did you modify a built in one? New
menus and toolbars are part of the file. Customizations to built in menus
and toolbars affect your PC only (and appear in all files).

Re: custom menu when you see it ?

I edited some of the items on the existing menu and then added some new items.
Please explain the difference between new or existing menu?

"New" means that you create a totally new menu or toolbar that previously did
not exist. When you open the Customize tool for command bars there is a button
at the very top labeled "New...". If you did not use that to create a *new*
menu then it is not part of your file and will not be usable anywhere but on
your own PC.
