Vis-a-vis my last post on the previous page about Siddartha and the mystic Eckhart, I went onto wikipedia and typed in Narcissus and the Goldmund and read:

Thats the exact period of most of the German Catholic mystics! And its about essenitially a young monk searching for enlightenment in medieval Germany!

Wow ! 2 Hesse fans can´t believe! I thought I am the only one who likes him and his books. Anyway with Goethes "Faust" he refers to Hesses Steppenwolf, Goethe confirmed that. So Hesse, in the end showed two ways out for Harry Haller (hanging himself or start take it with humor, but if you intepretate in hesses work - you will understand that somehow he meant with humor god as well)(this is my opinion)Yes Germanys history is rich of develeopment ! But there are as well dark parts , like Vouthon Paji said. I do not understand Why they got such a hugh influence of Hitler, this is really sad - The Nazi Ideology is really Kinky. I have read Hitlers book " My fight" , and after 3 Mins my blood was up - he wrote such a ******** I couldnt beleive that so much people followed him - but this is a deeeeeeep topic you can endlessly discuss about it (and this is the wrong topic) I don´t want to go more off topic . Anyway have you read some of Freuds or Nietzsche works? They are amazing as well - for me this is very intersesting.
