seemed to be fine. However, it seems there is an issue with our IBM ThinkPad
users opening databases, but not with the same roll out and our Desktop
Users. When the Thinkpad T40/43 try to open a database they receive an
error msg that Access encountered an error and needs to close down, and or it Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=13921
gives the option to try to repair the database. However, when a user IBM
desktop user access these same database they open successfully.. Are there
know issues and fixes for this..? Any ideas would be appreciated..
thanks in advance

Are you using Oracble ODBC drivers to access Oracle db's ? that's where the
issue seesm to be.
I will say that the Desktop units are at XP SP1 and the Laptops are at XP
SP2, so it could have something to do with SP2..
Any other suggestions..
