I have tow fields or columns, what ever you wish to call them.

The first has products, by name
Hats, shoes, etc

The second has product definitions
Hats hunting
Hats ball
Shoes low tops
Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/information-technology/13547-two-fields-different-variables.html
shoes High tops

I Know this sounds silly, but it is the way my miva matches things, In my
database, I would like to match these fields via words. Hats = Hats etc
Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=13547

Is there a way to do this?

Could you give that to us again. I just don't understand what you want.
What do you mean "match fields via words"

keyword)
Tractor Hats Hats
Steel Toe Boots Shoes
Steel Toe Shoes Shoes

Steel Toe Boots matching Shoes isn't going to happen unless you have a list
of synonyms stored somewhere.

For the others, you can use

WHERE Field1 LIKE "*" & Field2 & "*"
