Forgot how to do this. My Access program I wrote a few months needs to be

Press F9 on a line of code to create a breakpoint.

Alternatively, you can just insert a line containing:
Stop

Assuming that, that what tou mean by "breaking" the program.
Open the MDB while the shift key is pressed.

Or, press the F11 key while the program runs
