I have an application that runs on Access XP Runtime. I installed the

application on Windows Server 2003 R2. I have been running this same
application on my Windows 2000 Servers for the past 3 years with no
problems. The Windows Server 2003 R2 machine was installed in my network as
another DC that will soon replace the 2000 servers.

Ok, now the problem. When I try to run this application I can open it as
normal. When I try to login, I am faced with a box saying "Permission

Denied". Now, I can open this application with Access 2003 and login with
no problems but it was built and made to run with the Access XP (2002)
Runtime.

I have a log that says "Form_Login.loadLabels Permission denied"

Can anyone point me in a direction?

Mike

Re: Access XP Permission Denied

If you have any other version of Access on the machine it will interfere
with the Runtime version. You either need to remove the runtime version or
remove the other version of Access.

There may be another work-a-round that one of the MVP's can provide.
