Is this the Right Database to fulfil my needs

I wonder if you can help me

I’m working with a Charity called Sporting Marvels and Delta Force 33k,

(www.sportingmarvels.com) Both are Christian organisations but the one i use
a database for is Delta Force 33k, Let me just explain a little what I need
and hopefully you’ll be-able to answer me on if Access is that database for
me.

Delta Force is a Prayer Vision, basically to cut it short what we ask people
to do is to sign up to pray for a village in the area of Rhondda here in
South Wales, so at the moment we have 8500 people praying for 34 separate
villages, those 8500 people are from 38 different countries. Up still now

I’ve used a database that someone who once worked with us had created. This
database is no longer up to scratch but it has served a purpose.

What I need is a database where i can print reports and easily access which
people are praying for which villages, I also need to be able to input larger
sums of data, something that we need as well is to be able to print of Postal
Labels for the people who haven’t got e-mail and to e-mail all the people who
have.

This is really probably what we use a database for now. What I need to ask
you is will Access be the best database for this??

Ms Access is up to the tasks you outline & much more. "Best" is a vague
term, but you don't need a Rolls Royce to go to work.
