Hi!
I'm using Access 2003 (WinXP SP2) with ODBC linked tables to SQL Server
Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/information-technology/12664-add-new-record-disabled.html
2000. AllowAditionns is set to "Yes" on a form created by wizard with linked
tables.

Problem: Add new Record is allways disabled so I cannot add (or edit) data
Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=12664
through a form as well as directly in data when a linked table is opened in
datasheet view.

Thanks in advance.

RE: Add new record disabled

Check you have the right links between your tables, sometimes when you have
your two linked tables in a query it won't let you add, edit or delete those

records. You may need to have one of the tables showing in a sub form.

Re: Add new record disabled

Do you have primary keys defined for all of the tables?

RE: Add new record disabled

One SQL Server table linked to one Access table.
Simple form created by wizard. No subforms. Form source is specified linked
table (not query).

Everythig worked fine until recent. I think some Office patch coused the
problem.

One table, and yes, it does have primary key.
