Autogenerate Membership ID in Access 2K3

Hi Folks,

I would like to generate Membeship ID by using time stamp in the format:
yy:mm:dd:hr:sec. Anyone has an idea how this can be done?

Make the format of you Membership ID field a Date/Time format.
Set the Default Value to: =Now()

Thanks Scoot. I need to convert the result to Long Integer (10 digits). To

avoid duplicate, I think it may be better to perform the time stamping from
Save command button and after looking into table to check for duplicate ID #.
