Create Family Tree

Hi I am traying to create Family tree for my family in access.
As I have all the information of all the famalies in access I thought it
will will be good to creat that right in access.

I have created a qurey for that using the same table over and over. Now I
want to creat a report I and not able to creat a chart look tree.

Has anyone created something like that who can help me with this.

I am not at all sure you can do what you want in Access. While Access
can store the information, there are many very good programs out there that
do all that and much more. They are mature products that have been tweaked
over the years with many ideas that may not be apparent to you until later
when making the changes will be a lot of work. They also allow exchange of
information in the standard data interchange format for genealogy.

I suggest that you download the free copy of Legacy Family Tree.
Legacy uses the same file structure as Access.... in fact, you can
open the Legacy tables with Access. By carefully looking at what
Legacy does, you can probably either figure out how to do what you
want to do with Access, or modify your data enough to simply import it
into Legacy and use the features already programmed into Legacy.
