I am working on a database from a different group in my company than
where I am assigned. This database consists basically of one
continuous form (multiple records on a form) and this database was
converted earlier this year from 97 to 2000. Since the conversion to
2000 a certain feature of convenience no longer works. This is where a
specific date (usually today's date but not always) is entered in the
date field of the first and last record and then the remaining records
automatically fill in the same date in their date fields, which can
save a lot of entering. Can someone explain to me how this is normally
set up to do that and possible reasons why this converted database no

longer functions this way? Thanks as usual.

I forgot to note that the auto fill in happens between "added" records
only and will not affect the entire form.
