I have Windows server 2003 SBS and this week I create a new account for a
new employee. I create it as normal user like other user in the group.
Everything work fine with his account but MS-Access 97 with a specific
database. When this user change data in a sub form and change the cursor to

an other record or an other form(so when access write data to the
database), it give this message : "A problem occurs during the
communication with the OLE server". But on the same computer (or on any
other computer) with an other account with the same right, there is no
problem. The workstation have Windows Xp pro installed.

Every other employee that have the same access to this database have no
problem with it. So I deleted his account and recreated it but it didn't
work. After I try to rebuild the access database, same result. The database
use external table so I imported table in the same file and tried it, no
success.

I search for this problem on Internet and I found many problem with Norton
Antivirus but I'm with AVG Network Ed. Does this problem occurs with AVG

too?

Does somebody can help me with this problem?

Dany

More likely a service pack issue, Check references for MISSING
Make sure the Service Pack Level is 2 on all machines (help/about)
