Dear Readers,

I am intern at an IT company. I have been given a task to extract MS

Word and Excell files, stored as OLE's in a MS Access 97 database.
There are several hundred files, so I was wondering if there was a way

to automate a process to extract them into one directory. They need to
be in there own prospective files and formats (.doc and .xls). Thanks
in advance.

Dear Mr. Steele,

Thank you very much for the link. Would you happen to know of a similar
tool for SQL 2K? My supervisor just realized that the files were moved
to SQL 2K database.

You could try creating a linked table and see whether Stephen's application
will work with that. Otherwise, I'm afraid I don't know of any application
to do the same with SQL Server.
