Importing data from text file to already existing access file

I imported data from a text file by making use of 'Get external
data'..'Import' & then defining the corresponding feilds. Now i tried adding
another text file of the same kind, but i had to define all the fields again.
Is there any way that i can import the data from the text file directly to
the already existing access file?

One way is to use File... Get External Data... Link, and then run an

Append query into your existing table.
