how to add quotation marks to many cells at once

Hi there,

I need to put several hundred words into quotation marks, followed by a
semicolon.

apple --> "apple";

Is there a function I can use? I've looked at formatting but it doesn't seem

Hi Katya,

where are the words stored? are they stored seperately or
together? Why do you need to do this?

Run an Update Query on the table, to update the field in question to...

Cell? Are you using Excel? This is an Access newsgroup.

Hi I'm sorry to have wated your time, I am actually using excel's visual
BVasic itor. I must have wandered onto the wrong website.
