How to auto shrink or grow a line in report?

Hi,
I have a vertical line that I would want it o shrink or grow downwards
stimulatingly with the data fields that are on the same report

|Data1 | | |Data2 |
|________| | |________|

When data in either Data1 or Data2 filed shrink I want the line in between
