Have you installed the Office Sounds Add-In?

Also, you have verified that your sound is working otherwise, correct? For
example, can you play a .wav file? Personally, I've never used this Add-In,
but I downloaded and installed it after reading your question. I used it for
maybe one minute, before deciding that the sounds it produces while working
with Access are not something that I want to listen to for very long!
