Hello,

Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/information-technology/10573-compact-the-access-db.html
I have Access 2000 database.

For some reasons, sometimes I add records to the DB and sometimes I delete
records.
When deleting records, I see that the "DB" keep the space on the db,
and suppose it was 100M, it is not reduced after deleting records.

How can I compact the access-DB (after deleting the record).
This I need by some sql statement,
because I want that the user will have some options to compact the DB in
external program (i.e VB 6).

Thanks

Re: Compact the access-DB

....
The compress could be automatic, or manually,
but with no need to open the access environment
(should be manually-external or automatic).

Thanks

I'll try it.

Thanks
