working with open forms. I am doing a short batch program to find
duplicate entries. No forms are utilized. I noticed that "DoCmd.Beep"
works but the "DoCmd.FindRecord" does not, I get the error message that Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=10526
his option is not available. I am assuming that "FindRecord" will
work, provided it is operating within an open form.
My workaround, for now, is to use the "DCount" option. If I get two

query open in datasheet view. It won't work if no form is active and no
table or query is open in datasheet view. To access (no pun, etc) data Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=10526
without opening a form or a table or query in datasheet view, you can use
commands such as DCount or DLookup, or you can open a DAO or ADO recordset.
