As far as I know, the term "trend" is not a specific mathematical or
business term that would indicate exactly what you want. Is it a
difference, a difference expressed as a percent change, or what? If based

on a difference, is it a difference between successive values, or from a
baseline?
Please explain, give some source data, and the results that should be
produced. Perhaps then someone can offer you some assistance.
