I store 3-4 months worth of accuracy values in a table. I would like to be
able to display the information as a rolling average, which I can, but also
show the trend. Any ideas would be appreciatted as at the moment I am stumped.

Re: Trend Calculation?

Dear Rob:

As far as I know, the term "trend" is not a specific mathematical or
business term that would indicate exactly what you want. Is it a
difference, a difference expressed as a percent change, or what? If based

on a difference, is it a difference between successive values, or from a
baseline?

Please explain, give some source data, and the results that should be
produced. Perhaps then someone can offer you some assistance.

I'm sure I will have lots of questions but this should keep me busy for most
of the day...thank you very much!

Tom what I am trying to do is show the user if their accuracy is increasing
or decreasing over time without having to show them all the results of each
month.
