| | Guest | | | | | | | | | | Are Access 2007 beta 2 questions appropriate in this group? Hi,
I am trying to create a new Access Database Project file (ADP/ADE)with Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/information-technology/10245-access-2007-beta-2-questions-appropriate.html
Access 2007 beta 2, but for the life of me cannot figure out how to do this.
Has this functionality been removed from Access 2007? I have an existing
ADP (really an ADE) application that points to a SQL 2000 database backend, Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=10245
and would like to start designing an Access 2007 version now so that when
released, I will have a good start on it. But from what I can tell, you can
only link to external data from an ACCDB file, but not create and ADP file
anymore.
My apologies if this is the wrong forum for this question.
Thanks

i dont know if it exists in beta 2. Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=10245
I have been repeatedly assured by people in the SQL / Access team at
Microsoft that this feature will be included in Access 2007. |

Thanks

When you start to create a new database, just to the right of the text box
where the name for the new database is, there's a little file folder icon. Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=10245
Click that icon to open the File New Database dialog. The dialog has a 'Save
as Type' list which includes the ADP option. Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=10245
