Simple question

I got an easy question
i forgot how to set a foreign key in access.

programatically via the relations Container
Or with DDL Query
Or vie Tools/relationships

but i don't understand.
can you dumb it down for me please ?
i have two tables, stores and items.

stores has a primary key which is to be the foreign key in the items
table.
when i drag the storepk from the items table to the stores table in the
relationship it doesnt change it to a foreign key and doesn't
reconginze it as a unique index.
i haven't used access in 3 years or more i basicaly remember nothing,
all help is appreciated

Are you sure you've set the field to be the primary key?
Open the table & Check for the Key symbol (or view the indexes)

Just create a relationship in the Relationships window.

There's nothing distinctive or visible in table design about a foreign
key; a field is a foreign key by virtue of how it's being used, not
by any particular attribute of the table or of the field.
