Sikhs thrash 'preachers' at Gurdwara

Derogatory comments against Guru Govind Singh angers group; FIR lodged

The historical Sukh Singh Mehtab Singh Gurdwara of Hanumangarh town turned into a battleground when a group of preachers allegedly made derogatory statement against Guru Govind Singh, the 10th guru of Sikhs.

The incident took place during the morning prayer on Monday when five visiting speakers used foul language against the Sikh guru following which the sangat, a congregation of Sikh community, beat up four preachers, while one slipped into the crowd.

They were then handed over to the police. Hanumangarh police lodged an FIR on charges of disturbing public peace.

Informing the media, acting superintendent of Hanumangarh police Yadram Fasal said that all the four persons were preachers of another sect among the Sikh community led by one Maharaj Ashutosh of Punjab. Police also recovered pamphlets, CDs, DVDs and other printed material on the teachings of Maharaj Ashutosh from the car, in which arrested were travelling.

The SP said that the arrested were identified as Jaskaran Singh of Abohar, Satveer Singh of Nukera, Gurmel Singh of Kili (Fareedkot) and Gurcharan Singh of Kapurthala. The fifth accused was reportedly a Punjab police havaldar Ranjit Singh.

Kuldeep Singh, the spokesperson of Eknoor Khalasa Fauj Hanumnagarh, said that the five accused reached the Gurudwara in their car in the disguise of preachers of Sikh religion. They claimed to be associated with the Delhi Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee and stated that they wished to preach in the morning meeting.

"They were allowed to address the sangat at 5am in the morning. However, before concluding their speech, they started speaking against Guru Govind Singh and his teachings such as compulsory wear of kripan and kada. The listeners, mostly the women, objected to this," Singh said.

After this the arrested introduced themselves as followers of the Maharaj Ashutosh and suggested that he himself was a messenger of the 10th Guru. On this, the sangat got enraged and beat them up and damaged their car, the managers of the Gurdwara said.

You talk about religion i would say dont understand religion.....First go ahead and learn some discussion ettiquetes.....

Ashutosh ji Maharaj is none spreading voilence..... Had he been wrong he might not have had it in him to raise his voice....

He knows what he is talking about......

He talks about HUMANITY....People call him bhaaeeeyaaa i read it in the last post....

This discrimination of Punjabis in Punjab is not done by any of the Gurus not even by SARV SHRI ASHUTOSH JI MAHARAJ but by people who just know how to self proclaim....

When a teacher speaks in school why are we asked to listen because there are things which someone knows better understand better and is trying to make us understand....
He does not say come to me....he says take your time and come to me....
Sikhism is a respectable religion, so does Islam, Christianity and Hinduism....

I would say after hearing all the satsangs for the past 15 years i know 1 thing no preacher has ever used a foul language for any of the GURUs, they have just tried to make people understand what they actually meant.....

Who said sikh people are terrorists.....Terrorist knows no religion but to kill....

The same why our religion is to love.....

And if all what you say is true lets go to court and decide....
Since we have lost wisdom, since Ashutosh Maharaj ji gives false LOVE, since you as indivisual have the right to say the same way...It is our right to say...but we never blabber about you......

If you say we said wrong or used foul language for any of the Guru's then lets be precise and say the words said.......

So you took the video as a miracle right.....
It was a simple phenomenon of too much humidity where it seemed hindu sculpture drinking milk..... I am a hindu but donot believe in the dieties made up of rocks.... No sculpture is a GOD until we believe it is.....And this is the case all the religions....

I have not been asked by his holiness Sarv shri Ashutosh ji Maharaj to not believe in sculptures...but whhen you know the eternal truth behing sculptures, bells, diya's, or candles, or jot, then you get to know what actually is is Sohung.....

And sohung is the eternal fact Guru Nanak Dev ji also talk off, he experienced it....then only prolonged the religion....

He himself did not name a sikh a khalsa.... Khalsa was defined by Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji that too for a cause..... But now for their own benefit people have re derived terms for a khalsa....

After reading your posts i get a feeling that you are not really against SARV SHRI ASHUTOSH MAHARAJ JI......you are actually against he even talking about SHRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB>.........

More or less it seems you want a sikh to lead the organisation but sir this is not capitalism....India is a democratically free country and yes no court in India....is a Hindu or a sikh biased penal court....

Its a IPC -: Indian Penal Court........which means it is not religion based it is an Indian based...So outta all your post if you comment on Court also...It seems you are against India......

Where in Guru Granth sahib it is written it is mandatory to have your seperate land....Nowhere in Guru granth sahib seperation is mentioned.... But Sir the problem is not with Guru Granth Sahib... It is as clear as anything but people try and derive meanings for their own interests.... Dont do that....just search for what is written...... Keep Ashutosh ji Maharaj at the end of your list and start searching today.....if you find eternal peace or divinity as is written in our granths.....Dont think about coming to His holiness......

Or else chose the path he will show you the path towards destiny.....

Gyan given by Ashutosh ji maharaj talks about 4 things....

1)Kanthaamrit-: Amrit present inside the human body but only a perfect master can help you tell how to take it
2)Prakash-: the most truthful form of GODs existence-: As in Geeta Shri Krishna Says"Mein hazaaron suryon ki jyoti se bhi tez prakash hun, mujhe dekhne ke liye in ankhon ki nahin Divya netron ki zaroorat hai"

3)Anhadnaad or Brahmnaad-: The enchanting spiritual sounds which are not heard by these years but only those years that have insight to eternal divinity
4)Naam-: Sohung with each breath, thats how we name god with each and every breath

Also sir i might be a little too younger for you but kabhi kabhi bache bhi sahi hote hain....

Also let me tell you i am not a preacher... I am his shishya for the last 15 years out of 23 years of my life...I have seen the worst of the things changing at my house....That too we never asked for anything.... And he never gave us anything material...He just gave us the brahm gyan and we understood what is he talking about....
I am an IT personel working with Accenture in Mumbai but my roots are still connected to Noormahal and i would want this world to do good for themselves....May be sometime in your future everyone would realise.....

Why not start clearing the misconceptions here only....

See the majority just assumes all minorites think like them. Brother we Sikhs could not care if stone is carved as Siva's private parts or a monkey's tail! You need to learn a lot if you are going to have dialog on religion. Learn to understand the differences first and then start the dialog. Your approach is upside down.

Please note at SPN we don't like people just mouthing off. Quote a complete sabad of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji to support or say nothing related to Guru jis.

Learn something for ever. In Sikhism we don't differentiate as all had the belief in the same including Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji. He just kicked some behinds and Sikhs have done to many since and will do more in the future.

Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji states Vedas are useless and people misguided if they are looking for the creator using such. Search!

Sikhism doe n ot need Ashutosh ji to tell us anything. I hope you realize that. We have Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and we have no belief in your Maharaj ji. The less we know the better as it may hurt your feeling to know that some people (large number of Sikhs) who have not been mis-directed by garbage Sants/maharaj/etc. crap only look up to Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

I am happy for you and that you are a good person and I wish you nothing but best. What you do need to realize is that there is tremendous effort underway to destroy Sikhism. Recognize this and if you want to be a friend or help Sikhs, learn Punjabi, read Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, see first had what is stated and not how someone created messages and imprinted in your young mind.

Why not start clearing the misconceptions here only....
First step is quote sabads from Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji that you understand. It is very refreshing. You will find unfortunately if you are Hindu that Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji debunks lot of beliefs and myths underlying Hinduism. This has nothing to do with me saying this or that, this is the foundation of SIkhism. It came to liberate Hindus from mental slavery managed by Brahmins.

I have only one thing to say sir.....

Why do you cut down on the most important parts....
Why do you send your kids to school.....to learn right.....
A teacher is someone who teaches them and then they get to become the indivisuals they are.....Someone needs to show the path.........

A sikh or a hindu makes no difference, please sir next time you respond dont respond dont respond in terms of community please it is a request, because community is what we have created,

Guru Nanak Dev Ji or Jesus or Any Hindi diety or Prophet Mohammad gave a different name toa same path to salvation..... As history says someone needs to show the path

His Holiness SARV SHRI ASHUTOSH JI MAHARAJ is no sikh aur a Hindu he is a teacher.......

for a single split second forget he was born in Bihar.....Just think he was born amongst a sikh a sikh family and then please respond.....may be you will get an answer yourself..........
