High priests refer issue to SGPC’s executive panel

Amritsar, December 30
The five Sikh high priests here today decided to get approval of the executive committee of the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) on amendments in the Nanakshahi calendar.

Jathedar Akal Takht Giani Gurbachan Singh, coming out of the second meeting held at Akal Takht secretariat, said the Singh Sahibans (Sikh high priests) would discuss the changes in the calendar only after the approval of executive committee.

The Sikh high priests gathered to discuss the amendments suggested by the two-member committee comprising SGPC head Avtar Singh and President Sant Samaj Harnam Singh Dhumma.

Apparently, the Sikh high priests could not arrive at a mutually agreed decision. Besides, many sikh organisations came together to flay any move resulting in modification of the calendar.

PASSING THE BUCK...is what this amounts to....
IN Punjabi they say throwing off the dead snake from around ones neck to the neck of the nearest person...sapp they muh wich korr kirlee.....a snake has caught a poisonous lizard in its mouth..IF it "releases" it..he LOSES FACE..IF he "eats" it he dies of poisoning !!between the Devil and the deep Blue sea....

Of course they are passing the buck. A committee can't be held accountable the same way individuals can be. Too much anonymity for a committee. Badal's work has to be done. The result has to come out his way. Yet, the jathedars have had too much bad publicity lately. So what could be more logical than to pass the buck!

AND...the Comittee issues a statement..."WE DONT HAVE THE EXPERTISE.....why didnt the Jathedars call upon the Calendar Creator Pal Singh Purevaal who has written in to be asked for any help ???

YES..the Badal "misdeed" MUST be done any which way....Sikhi must be destroyed sooner than later....BUT these idiots forget that SIKHI is much GREATER than the Babars, the Jehangirs,Aurangjebs,Abdalis, Indiras.....and of course the Badals !! Sikhi cannot ever be destroyed !!!! they can try...try and try some more...all the Dhummas and Lambas and Adsms Inders cannot prevail....TRUTH will surface....LIES will SINK.
