| | | | is being a sikh and Khalistani synonymous?? i am very anguished by the people who are hell bent on making it seem on cyberworld that being khalistani is a perquisite to be a "good" sikh ... thanks to many nut heads those who call themselves sikhs and promote their hate filled agenda of religious superiority.... a simple web search on "sikh" leads you straight to a khalistani webpage...atleast majority of webpages thrown have a khalistani overtones.. except for matrimonials
a few questions i have..and am presenting in this straw poll..
1) How many of you consider that supporting Khalistan makes you a better sikh Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/hard-talk/14670-is-being-a-sikh-khalistani-synonymous.html
2) how many of you consider that Khalistan or whatever is a logical idea?
3) what would be the composition of citizens of khalistan
4) How is idea of khalistan different from idea of Grand Khalifat or ummah of muslims?
5) does a sikh serving in indian army/police become a lesser sikh for defending his motherland?
6) how are khalistanis different from these - KKK, Nazis and Taliban.

thanks for responding..
how would you see this in light of following statements
1. punjab belongs to sikhs and only sikhs have right to rule it
2. Dhoti topi jamuna paar
3. posters in schools forcing girls to wear salwaar kameez and wear chunnis always covering their heads.
i myself have been witness to incidents when parents of girls were threatened of dire consequences if they went to missionary schools or if they didn't wear the dress prescribed, or didn't cover head... Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=14670
what about personal freedom.. why thumbs and fingers of many people who kept long hair( outer sikhs) and used to eat tobacco..
isn't this infringement of personal freedom?
please evaluate the question in this light.... |

In my point of view and from the view of all the other great philosphers of Sikh panth Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=14670 "If a Sikh is not Khalistani, he/she is not a Sikh"Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=14670
and jst wanna add that "those who compare Khalistan with Taliban are very big fools". Pls first go and understand the concept of Khalsa and Khalistan before making any type of foolish statements.
sorry for being rude but its true... bul chuk muaff
