One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਕੇਵਲ ਇਕ ਹੈ। ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਇਆ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਉਹ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।


Creator's understanding is like a lighted lamp in the mind.

ਬਿਨਸਿਓ ਅੰਧਕਾਰ ਤਿਹ ਮੰਦਰਿ ਰਤਨ ਕੋਠੜੀ ਖੁਲ੍ਹ੍ਹੀ ਅਨੂਪਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ बिनसिओ अंधकार तिह मंदरि रतन कोठड़ी खुल्ही अनूपा ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Binsi▫o anḏẖkār ṯih manḏar raṯan koṯẖ▫ṛī kẖulĥī anūpā. ||1|| rahā▫o. It dispels the darkness from the body-mansion, and opens the beautiful chamber of jewels. ||1||Pause|| ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਰੀਰ ਦੇ ਮਹਿਲ ਦਾ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰਾ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਵੇਹਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਕੁਟੀਆ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਠਹਿਰਾਉ। ਅੰਧਕਾਰ = ਘੁੱਪ ਹਨੇਰਾ, ਅਗਿਆਨਤਾ ਦਾ ਹਨੇਰਾ। ਤਿਹ ਮੰਦਰਿ = ਉਸ ਮਨ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿਚ। ਅਨੂਪਾ = ਬਹੁਤ ਸੁੰਦਰ ॥੧॥ ਉਸ ਮਨ-ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਆਤਮਕ ਗੁਣ-ਰਤਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੜੀ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਕੋਠੜੀ ਖੁਲ੍ਹ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ (ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਨੀਵੇਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਾਲੇ) ਹਨੇਰੇ ਦਾ ਉਥੋਂ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ॥

The darkness dissipates and it feels as though mind space gets filled with gems of understanding and virtue.

Quote:

ਬਿਸਮਨ ਬਿਸਮ ਭਏ ਜਉ ਪੇਖਿਓ ਕਹਨੁ ਨ ਜਾਇ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥ बिसमन बिसम भए जउ पेखिओ कहनु न जाइ वडिआई ॥ Bisman bisam bẖa▫e ja▫o pekẖi▫o kahan na jā▫e vadi▫ā▫ī. I was wonderstruck and astonished, when I looked inside; I cannot even describe its glory and grandeur. ਜਦ ਮੈਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਝਾਕਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਚਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਤੇ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਤਾ ਮੈਂ ਵਰਣਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ। ਬਿਸਮਨ ਬਿਸਮ = ਹੈਰਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਹੈਰਾਨ, ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਹੈਰਾਨੀ। ਜਉ = ਜਦੋਂ। ਕਹਨੁ ਨ ਜਾਇ = ਬਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ। (ਗੁਰੂ ਸ਼ਬਦ-ਦੀਵੇ ਦੇ ਚਾਨਣ ਵਿਚ) ਜਦੋਂ (ਅੰਦਰ-ਵੱਸਦੇ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਦੋਂ ਮੇਰ-ਤੇਰ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਸਭੇ ਸੁੱਧਾਂ ਭੁੱਲ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਉਸ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਬਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ।

In such an enlightenment of understanding, one cannot find words to describe the creator's virtue.

Quote:

ਮਗਨ ਭਏ ਊਹਾ ਸੰਗਿ ਮਾਤੇ ਓਤਿ ਪੋਤਿ ਲਪਟਾਈ ॥੧॥ मगन भए ऊहा संगि माते ओति पोति लपटाई ॥१॥ Magan bẖa▫e ūhā sang māṯe oṯ poṯ laptā▫ī. ||1|| I am intoxicated and enraptured with it, and I am wrapped in it, through and through. ||1|| ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਯ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਸੰਨ ਅਤੇ ਮਤਵਾਲਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਤਾਣੇ ਪੇਟੇ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਚਿਮੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਮਗਨ = ਚੁੱਭੀ ਲਾ ਲਈ। ਸੰਗੀ = ਨਾਲ। ਮਾਤੇ = ਮਸਤ। ਓਤਿ = ਉਣਤ ਵਿਚ। ਪੋਤਿ = ਪ੍ਰੋਣ ਵਿਚ। ਓਤਿ ਪੋਤਿ = ਤਾਣੇ ਪੇਟੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਮਿਲੇ ਹੋਏ ॥੧॥ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤਾਣੇ ਪੇਟੇ ਦੇ ਧਾਗੇ ਆਪੋ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਲੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤਿਵੇਂ ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਸੁਰਤ ਡੁੱਬ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਮਸਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਈਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਚੰਬੜ ਜਾਈਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥

One feels as though threaded into the creator being the cloth and becomes one with the creator.

ਆਲ ਜਾਲ ਨਹੀ ਕਛੂ ਜੰਜਾਰਾ ਅਹੰਬੁਧਿ ਨਹੀ ਭੋਰਾ ॥ आल जाल नही कछू जंजारा अह्मबुधि नही भोरा ॥ Āl jāl nahī kacẖẖū janjārā ahaʼn▫buḏẖ nahī bẖorā. No worldly entanglements or snares can trap me, and no trace of egotistical pride remains. ਕੋਈ ਭੀ ਸੰਸਾਰਕ ਪੁਆੜੇ ਦੇ ਫਾਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਉਤੇ ਅਸਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਹੰਕਾਰੀ-ਮਤ ਲੇਸ-ਮਾਤਰ ਭੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੀ। ਆਲ ਜਾਲ = ਘਰ (ਦੇ ਮੋਹ) ਦੇ ਜਾਲ। ਜੰਜਾਰਾ = ਜੰਜਾਲ, ਝੰਬੇਲੇ। ਅਹੰਬੁਧਿ = ਹਉਮੈ ਵਾਲੀ ਬੁੱਧੀ, ਅਹੰਕਾਰ। ਭੋਰਾ = ਰਤਾ ਭੀ। (ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ-ਦੀਵੇ ਨਾਲ ਜਦੋਂ ਮਨ-ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਚਾਨਣ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ) ਗ੍ਰਿਹਸਤ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਦੇ ਜਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਝੰਬੇਲੇ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ, ਅੰਦਰ ਕਿਤੇ ਰਤਾ ਭਰ ਭੀ 'ਮੈਂ ਮੈਂ' ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦੀ।

Wordly affairs and cares become insignificant and ego is subdued.

Quote:

ਊਚਨ ਊਚਾ ਬੀਚੁ ਨ ਖੀਚਾ ਹਉ ਤੇਰਾ ਤੂੰ ਮੋਰਾ ॥੨॥ ऊचन ऊचा बीचु न खीचा हउ तेरा तूं मोरा ॥२॥ Ūcẖan ūcẖā bīcẖ na kẖīcẖā ha▫o ṯerā ṯūʼn morā. ||2|| You are the highest of the high, and no curtain separates us; I am Yours, and You are mine. ||2|| ਹੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ, ਤੂੰ ਉਚਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮ ਉਚਾ ਹੈ। ਤੇਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਕੋਈ ਪੜ੍ਹਦਾ ਖਿਚਿਆ ਹੋਇਟਆ ਨਹੀਂ। ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਹੈ। ਊਚਨ ਊਚਾ = ਮਹਾਨ ਉੱਚਾ। ਬੀਚੁ = ਪਰਦਾ, ਵਿੱਥ। ਖੀਚਾ = ਖਿੱਚਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ, ਤਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ। ਹਉ = ਮੈਂ, ਹਉਂ। ਮੋਰਾ = ਮੇਰਾ ॥੨॥ ਤਦੋਂ ਮਨ-ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਉਹ ਮਹਾਨ ਉੱਚਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਹੀ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਦਿੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਪਰਦਾ ਤਣਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦਾ। (ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਉਂ ਹੀ ਆਖੀਦਾ ਹੈ-ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!) ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ (ਦਾਸ) ਹਾਂ, ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ (ਮਾਲਕ) ਹੈਂ ॥੨॥

In such a state one one experiences the creator in body and mind, one does not feel the separation from the creator.

ਏਕੰਕਾਰੁ ਏਕੁ ਪਾਸਾਰਾ ਏਕੈ ਅਪਰ ਅਪਾਰਾ ॥ एकंकारु एकु पासारा एकै अपर अपारा ॥ Ėkankār ek pāsārā ekai apar apārā. The One Creator Lord created the expanse of the one universe; the One Lord is unlimited and infinite. ਇਕ ਅਦਭੈਤ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਨੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ। ਇਕ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੀ ਬੇਹੱਦ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਹੈ। ਏਕੰਕਾਰੁ = ਇਕ ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ। ਅਪਰ = ਪਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ। ਅਪਾਰਾ = ਬੇਅੰਤ। (ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ-ਦੀਵੇ ਨਾਲ ਜਦੋਂ ਮਨ-ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਚਾਨਣ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਦੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਭੀ) ਇਕੋ ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਆਪ ਪਸਰਿਆ ਦਿੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ।

The light from the creator's understanding makes one realize the one creator present everywhere.

ਏਕੁ ਬਿਸਥੀਰਨੁ ਏਕੁ ਸੰਪੂਰਨੁ ਏਕੈ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਅਧਾਰਾ ॥੩॥ एकु बिसथीरनु एकु स्मपूरनु एकै प्रान अधारा ॥३॥ Ėk bisthīran ek sampūran ekai parān aḏẖārā. ||3|| The One Lord pervades the one universe; the One Lord is totally permeating everywhere; the One Lord is the Support of the breath of life. ||3|| ਇਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਅੰਦਰ ਫੈਲਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਇਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੀ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਪਰੀਪੂਰਨ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਕ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹੀ ਜਿੰਦ-ਜਾਨ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੈ। ਬਿਸਥੀਰਨੁ = ਖਿਲਾਰਾ, ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼। ਸੰਪੂਰਨੁ = ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਵਿਆਪਕ। ਅਧਾਰਾ = ਆਸਰਾ ॥੩॥ ਉਹ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਹਰ ਪਾਸੇ ਖਿਲਰਿਆ ਤੇ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਜਾਪਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਦਿੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥

One creator, omni-present appears as the support for all creation.

ਨਿਰਮਲ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਸੂਚਾ ਸੂਚੋ ਸੂਚਾ ਸੂਚੋ ਸੂਚਾ ॥ निरमल निरमल सूचा सूचो सूचा सूचो सूचा ॥ Nirmal nirmal sūcẖā sūcẖo sūcẖā sūcẖo sūcẖā. He is the most immaculate of the immaculate, the purest of the pure, so pure, so pure. ਪਵਿੱਤਰਤਾ ਦਾ ਪਰਮ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ, ਪਾਵਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਹਾਂ ਪਾਵਲ, ਬੇਦਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਸਚਿਆਰਾ ਦਾ ਪਰਮ ਸਚਿਆਰਾ ਉਹ ਹੈ। ਨਿਰਮਲ ਨਿਰਮਲ = ਮਹਾਨ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ। ਸੂਚਾ...ਸੂਚਾ = ਮਹਾਨ ਸੁੱਚਾ। (ਜਦੋਂ ਮਨ-ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਗੁਰ-ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੇ ਦੀਵੇ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਦੋਂ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਤੱਖ ਦਿੱਸ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਮਹਾਨ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੈ, ਮਹਾਨ ਸੁੱਚਾ ਹੈ।

The creator appears as pious and the purest of pure in such enlightened mind.

Quote:

ਅੰਤ ਨ ਅੰਤਾ ਸਦਾ ਬੇਅੰਤਾ ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਊਚੋ ਊਚਾ ॥੪॥੧॥੮੭॥ अंत न अंता सदा बेअंता कहु नानक ऊचो ऊचा ॥४॥१॥८७॥ Anṯ na anṯā saḏā be▫anṯā kaho Nānak ūcẖo ūcẖā. ||4||1||87|| He has no end or limitation; He is forever unlimited. Says Guru Nanak, He is the highest of the high. ||4||1||87|| ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੇ ਹੰਦ-ਬੰਨੇ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਓੜਕ ਨਹੀਂ। ਸਦੀਵੀ ਅਨੰਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬੁਲੰਦਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮ ਬੁਲੰਦ ਹੈ ਉਹ। xxx॥੪॥੧॥੮੭॥ ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਆਖ- ਉਸ ਦਾ ਕਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈ ਸਕਦਾ, ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉੱਚਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚਾ ਹੈ (ਉਸ ਵਰਗਾ ਉੱਚਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ) ॥੪॥੧॥੮੭॥

Nanak, the creator is infinite and of status higher than the highest.
