Chardi Kala Jatha is a raagi jatha of American Sikhs. They are in the generation of 3HO Sikhs who were born and raised as Sikhs, went to school in India, and studied Gurmat Sangeet with teachers Ustad Narinder Singh Sandhu and Ustad Murli Manohar. The group has a very big following in the United Kingdom, and so also in India but to a lesser extent. They have performed at Darbar Sahib, and tour the globe, with performances in New Zealand, Malaysia and other places. |
