Although Bhairavi is a major league Raga, it stands apart from other Ragas of like stature in one important way: its use of all 12 swaras, a signal feature of the Bhairavi praxis.

ga-orhee mehlaa 9
Gauree, Ninth Mehl

saaDho gobind kay gun gaava-o.
Holy Saadhus: sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord of the Universe.

maanas janam amolak paa-i-o birthaa kaahi gavaava-o. ||1|| rahaa-o.
You have obtained the priceless jewel of this human life; why are you uselessly wasting it? ||1||Pause|

patit puneet deen banDh har saran taahi tum aava-o.
He is the Purifier of sinners, the Friend of the poor. Come, and enter the Lord's Sanctuary.

gaj ko taraas miti-o jih simrat tum kaahay bisraava-o. ||1||
Remembering Him, the elephant's fear was removed; so why do you forget Him? ||1||

taj abhimaan moh maa-i-aa fun bhajan raam chit laava-o.
Renounce your egotistical pride and your emotional attachment to Maya; focus your consciousness on the Lord's meditation.

naanak kahat mukatpanth ih gurmukh ho-ay tum paava-o. ||2||5||
Says Nanak, this is the path to liberation. Become Gurmukh, and attain it. ||2||5||

Explanations of Raag Tilang:
This exceedingly sweet ("karNapriya") raga is attained to by dropping R and D from Raga Khamaj. The surviving auDav contour assumes the following form: S G M P N S"::S" n P M G SBut a mere scale does not a raga make.
Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=16516
Tilang's highlights are summarized below: G M P n P M G, S G M P N S" n P G M GNotice how avarohi movement drops M and embraces P-G in the second instance.
A momentary hint of Bihag through G M P N is eradicated by subsequent construction.
G M P n P N S", P N S" G" S" N S"R"NS" n P G M G
The rishab is verboten in textbook Tilang but it is common practice to deploy it in the tAra saptak.
