Those who are familiar with the music can understand better than common man.
In simple terms Ghur is the reference for the number of tals/beats to be used for singing any particular composition.Ghur is therefore a sort of direction to a musicial for tals. The word Ghur as reference to tals/beats is for the word Ghur being used in Headings of any Raag in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji .
