The word "Ghur" in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is related to the musical aspect of sabads in different raagas.
Those who are familiar with the music can understand better than common man.
In simple terms Ghur is the reference for the number of tals/beats to be used for singing any particular composition.Ghur is therefore a sort of direction to a musicial for tals. There is anothor meaning of the word Ghur in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji .When the word Ghur is found within compositions it refers to a place of staying [as House}.and this place of stay has been refered to ones Heart.
The word Ghur as reference to tals/beats is for the word Ghur being used in Headings of any Raag in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji . Ghar is also used rfor abode/dwelling..as in sunyeh ghar ka prauhnna..guest arriving at an empty house..
