After studying at Cornell and Tufts, Amardeep Singh received his Ph.D. from Duke University in 2001. At Lehigh, Singh teaches British modernism, postcolonial literature and theory, and poststructuralism. He has edited a special edition of the journal Polygraph, and has published essays on postcolonial literature and cultural studies in The Journal of Commonwealth and Postcolonial Studies, M/C Reviews, Semeia, SAMAR, and Springerin. He is currently at work on a book-length project theorizing secularism in a global frame. The book is entitled Secularism and Modern Literature: A Comparative Study.
