Dear Cooper,
The thread has been temporarily removed because one of the members ('muslim') was mis-quoting from the
Sikh holy scripture by taking single line out of context and demeaning the
Sikh holy scripture and the other dear member made judgements based on those mis-quoted single lines from whole stanza and out of ignorance dismissing the all scriptures randomly by considering them as rambling...

i dont consider this to be a better approach for learning.
SPN has absolutely no problem with freedom of speech or passing personal opinions... but offensive remarks generated out of sheer ignorance will not help us in increasing our understandings of various world philosophies and only create a greater divide between the inter-religious followers and non-followers alike... we are here to evolve...
Sikhs consider the
Sikh holy scripture ... Sri
Guru Granth Sahib Ji (SGGSJ) as a divine (Emanating from Almighty) guide and believe that SGGSJ provides us with a unique way of living this life gracefully and confidently ... a way of life of Self-less Service to Humanity...
The only thing we, as a learner, can do is try to analyse and understand the scriptures and rather not believe in hearsay and treat that as literal and this takes a big personal effort.
The thread will be restored as 'soon' as we get a
Sikh scholar, who can rightly interpret the meanings and make ignorant people like myself, understand the true meaning of Tukk (stranza), taken out of context by dear member ('muslim'). We are in the process of approaching such persons, who can guide us better than dear 'muslim'...
