Respected Forum Members - So many of my friends on SPN and other Sikh Networks have wished me a Happy New Year. Mine will be spent with family and friends. Party all night New Year's Eve and sleep late New Year's Day? 4. Visit family and friends? 5. Be visited by family and friends? 6. :pGo into isolation because you hate noise and confusion? 7. Go a kirtaan performance -- maybe all night? 8. Host a kirtaan performance at your house? 9. Read a book?  10. Take a short trip or a long trip to somewhere you have never been? 11. Take a short trip or a long trip to somewhere you have visited frequently? 12. Go into a state of semi-consciousness? Sleep? I didn't celebrate at all. What's to celebrate? The movement of an arbitrarily created calendar? I don't see any significance in that to the functioning of my life. |
