the weekend.

I feel ill.. Sian has to goto work yesterday, so I had the whole Sunday to myself. Needless to say, I decided to have a day off, (can you have a day off from being a Sikh?), so after a huge breakfast, Mcdondalds for lunch, which led to copious amounts of energy drinks, chocolate, a few beers, and here I sit, monday morning, sick as a pig.

I feel lethargic, slow, foggy, who could have thought your food intake could have so much effect on your connection!

On sunday, I had a long talk with the essence of God within me, I was sitting in the bath, where all good thinking takes place. Dan as usual was sat on the floor, looking confused, probably due to trying to drink hot water.,

So, to cut a long story short, at the age of 43, I suddenly felt what being a Sikh was all about, for me anyway, and it was not, at this stage, the 5 K's, it was simply joining my will with that of the divine. So, in the bath, with my head bowed, I offered it...

Hmmm

Hmm, I spot a recurring theme here, I find Naam, follow Hukam, and then get lazy, days morph into days, and before you know it, you are so far away from Naam, your actions and thoughts so far away from Hukam, but it all just creeps up on you.

It creeps up on you, as does its brother in arms, Misery, and the more you deviate, the more miserable you are, but its done slowly, so you cannot even remember what life was life before misery,
