YES cows are Plants and all this meat-vege stuff is for the birds.

Actually there is a programme on UK TV called "Kill IT, Cook IT, Eat It", and they have glass walls to abatoires there and people from many backgrounds are sent there, at it does not seem to change behaviour. If anything it encourages people to go for fresh or organic meat. I recommend you watch it.
In anycase I have seen kids help gut animals (in many countries), and they seem very happy.
