Well as per Guru Granth Sahib Ji Amrit is Gurubani.

But Sau Sakhi,Bhai Gurdas second's Var,Vijay Mukt Sakhi 10 etc tell us to get Amrit Sanskar or baptism.

Baptism of sabre was started by Tenth Guru and his verse are not included in Guru Granth Sahib Ji(there is a contorversy about two verse of him mcould be included in Salok Mahala 9th but can not be true).
