Aman ji and Nam Jap ji,
As I am reading these threads, that Aman ji has started recently, an idea is beginning to emerge. These are inspiring thoughts -- what an understatement about the prayers that you are posting Aman? But they are. And the way they look in the thread is very compact and concise. So a reader can digest the thoughts of the prayer and then get some good background for understanding the why and to what end of the prayer.
The Nam Jap has inserted the musical version from a good site -- RKK. An e book can have hot links to other sites on the Internet that present the raags in musical form.
If you were to continue this model, after a few days, there would be a way to create an e-book -- I know how to do this using Adobe -- that could then be downloaded from the SPN site from any location. A person in an airport, or in the office, would have access by laptop at any time of the day. Tonight when I am back from work I will figure out how this would look to best advantage and show it to you for comment.
Even in the book use hot links to the resources on the Internet that Nam Jap is gathering together.
In addition, fonts can be varied to make a clean, clear but aesthetic presentation. Let me try this out and then you can tell me if you think the idea is worth it as a seva to SPN members who are on the go and wonder about prayers. __________________ ਮਨ ਕਰਹਲਾ ਗੁਰ ਗੋਵਿੰਦੁ ਸਮਾਲਿ ॥ man karehalaa gur govindh samaal O camel-like mind, dwell upon the Guru and the Lord of the Universe. |
