| re: Sidh Gosht in Gurumukhi Script with English Transliteration Respected aad0002 Ji, i know sometimes i just go on and on. One thing i must say -please don't think that at 61 one cannot learn another language. Please don't get frustrated. Nothing is impossible. The reason i say this is that like this one- Sidh Gosht, even if i try my best i will not be able to make you understand this in its true sense through some other language. Like Gyani Ji has done- he posted i believe it is from SikhitotheMax- now i would like to wait what he says about this. There are many other parts in Gurbani where this same problem is faced by the translaters- either they themselves don't understand it OR there is nothing they can do as there are no words available to use..... and again Translations are what the other person understands- it may not be what actualy Guru Ji is talking about. this is certainly not to discourage you. Please take this conversation in a constuctive manner not as a discouraging one. from the core of my heart i want you to understand everything in Gurbani in its TRUE ESSENCE, not what somebody else thinks.Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/sidh-gosht/5309-sidh-gosht-gurumukhi-script-english-transliteration.htmlReference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=5309 forgive me please. |
