Sikhs believe in Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji as their living Guru.

His faith is obviously the Sikh religion. Not too sure about yours though.

Firstly you quote some of Satguru Nanak Devji's Sabads:
Sachi bani mithi amritdhar
Jinh piti tis mokhdwar."
(Malar Mohalla 1, p-1275)
'The True Bani is sweet-nectar
Whosoever is devoted to it, attaineth salvation."
(Translation of the above)
"Sachi bani sion dhare piyar
Tako pavai mokhdwar."
(Dhanasari Mohalla 1, p-661)
'Whosoever devoted to Eternal Bani
Will get deliverance."
(Translation of the above)
Pray, which Gurbani was Satguruji refering to here? The Aadh Guru Granth Sahib had not come into being when Satguru Nanakdevji composesd these Sabads. |
Confused about your comment. In my humble opinion and understanding as I am just a learner, there is one jyot passed through Guruship ceremony.
Not sure why you have even mentioned the above.

We are not told that repeating it out aloud will send us to Hell, although as per instructions within the Aadh Guru Granth Sahib, which your school of thought will wash over, we are told not to repeat Gurmanthr out aloud.
Gurmanthr is that Manthr, Naam which according to Bhai Gurdasji, Satguru Nanak Devji spent 36 Yugs to prepare for the salvation of us Kalyugi Souls. It was and is still given secretly in the ears by a LIVING Satguru. The 'Vidhi' for despatching that Naam is also written within the pages of Aadh Guru Granth Sahib. |
Again there is no living guru in a human form after Sri Guru Govind Singh Ji in the Sikh religion.
And the Sikhs call their scared teachings "Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji" not adh guru granth.
Das could be wrong but notices that there is too much haumai in you since you have the himat to go against Guru Nanak Dev ji's teaching.
Dont forget that we will have to answer to Dharam Raj one day as all our actions are recorded ie every breath not just mins or hours.

Das disagree's. Neutral Singh wrote a good article of his understanding of being a Sikh and his comment on sects is a fact.
There shoudnt be "sects" in the first place. All true Sikhs should and must be united and stand as one.
