Re: Sikhs call for abolition of SGPC supremacy

I'm not sure what is wrong that SGPC has done. Still people sitting thousands of miles away from Punjab interpret images and things to match there perception.

In short, punjab is already in election mode, so for people over there have to keep saying something to affect the pattern.
As far as political aspect of the problem is concern, I don't know what we will gain if SGPC is not supreme. All the faults we are find in SGPC functioning in India, what so different happens in US, Canada and UK. So lets not get into that.

In Punjab, state politics and Sikhs are so tightly linked that we occassionally see reflection of dirty polictics in Sikh affairs.

Morever people should respect that Sikh's have elected there representative for SGPC. And if somebody thinks he is more capable, why not convince the Sikhs and win elections.

On Sikhi side, its responsibility of all of us to spread sikhi. Dharam prachar cannot be left to one organization and we sit here to find faults.

All the SGPC pracharak and Raagi singh, daas got an opportunity to listen to, are really blessed people. Mush more simple and effective then those so called SANT so & so, roaming around with "Chelas".

I surely agree that we failed badly in raising awarness of people about our beautiful religion. Such fault finding only lead us to more divisions and state of confusion for people at large.

Probably it would be best if all of us look at our own report card.

Mandeep
