It is sad to notice that Sikhs have become the punching bags in the name of the world security against any attacks by the "terrorists". We have been, as they say, the collateral damage since 9-11.

The most pathetic part of all this is that the real terrorists that tried to do any damage in the US, UK, Indonesia and others had no turbans on.

The shoe bomber, The underwear bomber, the Time Square bomber and many more who tried to kill the innocent in the name of Allah are a few examples.

The progress will be steady and slow. Thanks to the advocacy Groups like SALDEF, Sikh Coalition and brave journalists like Jarnail Singh Ji.

I would request all the Sikhs around the world to become proactive participants of the Interfaith Forums where ever you are. This is the quickest and the most beneficial way to have an impact in the society we live in. Through these forums, one can give talk to the local schools against bullying, train the local Police departments and many more things which will benefit us and our coming generations.
